Rev. Jacqueline McCall
“Pastor Jackie”

Rev. Jacqueline McCall is currently the Associate Pastor at St James Church in Kansas City, Mo. Which is the largest Black United Methodist Church in the Missouri Conference. After over 28 years working with Fortune 500 companies in various areas of financial and client services, Jacqueline wrestled with the idea that there was more she was supposed to do. Eventually, she discerned her call to the ministry.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in French/ International Business Management from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA and her Master of Divinity from Duke University in Durham, NC. She will begin Doctoral work soon where she will focus in spirituality and integrative health. She also has earned 5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education from Barnes Jewish Hospital and the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) where she worked as a Chaplain Resident in St. Louis, Mo. At the VA, she taught spirituality classes and provided spiritual counseling to patients with acute issues and substance. Abuse/mental health disorders. Continuing her spiritual healing work, she has certificates in trauma from Rutgers University School of Social Work. Currently, when she is not preaching, teaching, and overseeing the ministries at St James, she and her husband have begun creating Calm Rooms in Elementary schools to help children with behavioral issues and/or who may just need a moment to recalibrate.

“Pastor Jackie” is also a mother, a grandmother, an author, and inspirational speaker whose goal is to always “speak to the heart and illustrate with words how trees blossom after they fall”.
