How to Become a Member

Saint Andrew United Methodist Church, membership is a process that begin with making a decision to become a part of a Christian community of faith. The process is designed to help individuals integrate individual faith, practice, community, mission, service, and witness. It helps each of us to better understand the nature of God, the will of God, how belonging and participating in a faith community (St. Andrew) is life-giving and transforming.  (Please note that membership is not required to participate in service, missions, small groups, communion or any aspect of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.)

Seeker and Member Classes

Our Seeker and Member Classes are simply Membership Classes for those that desire to know more about Saint Andrew. You may be a Seeker, Regular Worship Attender, Participant in Activities, or Members desiring to learn more about what we believe and how to connect to others. Classes do not need to be taken in succession. We offer the classes quarterly and you may sign up on the Connect Card in worship, by stopping by the Welcome Center and complete or contact us standrewumcinfo@gmail.com
We offer a series of five core practice classes that are designed to help you learn what it means to be a member or to help you learn about Saint Andrew culture. At the end of completing all 5 levels of classes, you may let us know by making a Membership Covenant that you are ready to be faithful with your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. You will be asked to take a Spiritual Gift survey to help you and us discern how you plan to serve Christ through the ministry of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church.
