Serving in the Community and the World

At St. Andrew United Methodist Church we offer many incredible opportunities for you to minister and serve one another, the community, and the world.

For example, St. Andrew United Methodist Men (UMM) sponsors a Fish Fry on designated Friday evenings. The UMM also sponsors other activities throughout the year including a Bowl-a-Thon, Christmas Tree Lot, Saturday morning pancake breakfasts and much more. The UMM meets once each month on Saturday mornings.

United Methodist Women (UMW) also provides needed support to the community. The UMW sponsor a Memorial Candle Burning on Memorial Day each year. UMW usually meets on Tuesdays.

St. Andrew UMC has a long tradition of providing varied mission activities for our children and youth. Kids Living in His Vision (KLIV) is a weekly worship session for all children grades 2 - 6. KLIV sponsors a float in the Florissant Valley of Flowers Parade each year. Our youth ministry has been very successful in teaching the value of service to others while also having fun. The United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) offers our youth a yearly mission trip, planning and execution of the Easter Sunrise Service, and many other great opportunities. See what our UMYF has to offer.

At SAUMC, we are a community of faith seeking to maintain the best of the past while also bringing new ideas into the mainstream of church life. We are in constant prayer that the work we do fulfills the mission God has for our ministry, both here in North St. Louis County as well as in other areas of service.
