With College Students

What do we mean by connecting? Perhaps, Jesus said it best ... "I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me, and I in you, then you will bear much fruit." Like the branches connectto the vine, so we must connect with each other in a spirit of love and Christian support.

One of our most important objectives for SAUMC ministries and special church events is fellowship through Christian discipleship. So what do we mean by that? It means that the more we learn about and live by the teachings of Christ, the more like the Vine we become. In that way, both as individuals and as a congregation, we become healthier branches, better connected to God, each other, and our community.
