We need you to act quickly! The St. Andrew Trailer will be used to help people in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey

WHAT YOU CAN DO! (Donate Products – Monday – Wednesday)

Have you been wanting to help with Hurricane Harvey relief, but not sure what to do?  We have a way you can help, but you have to act fast!  An organization called Shower to the People is headed to Houston this week.

Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 (Help Load and Sort Donations 4:30 pm)

Also, we could use some help at 4:30 pm on Wednesday (the 6th) to load all the collected items into the trailer.

Thursday, September 7th, 2017 (Trailer will depart at 5:00 pm for Houston, TX)HOW WILL YOUR DONATION OF HYGIENE PRODUCTS BE USED?
Shower to the People provides mobile shower units where needed. The group is run by a local St. Louisan. (He actually was our local Cokesbury rep before starting this organization.)  Shower to the People has asked to use the youth group trailer to haul personal hygiene items to Houston to be distributed.

They are picking our trailer up at 5:00 pm on Wednesday.  We will be collecting donations in the mission bins at the entrance to the FLC. Look for the Hurricane Harvey signs. All donations must be placed there before 5:00 pm on Wednesday (Sept. 6th).  Below is the list of items that they are accepting.

Body Wash
Bug Spray

Thank you so much for your help!
